Jeff Rafsky

Jeff brings almost 50 years of experience in the financial service industry to Commonwealth. With graduate education in both Law and Communications, Jeff offers a unique understanding of how to deal with transactions both simple and complex and the ability to provide his customers a clear understanding of the deal and its process.

His career has included positions as a financial analyst, sales executive, entrepreneur, senior manager and chief executive officer. Highlights include the founding and then serving as chief executive officer of a finance company which was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in the United States, and serving as the President of the Mortgage Division of a Philadelphia based, federally chartered Savings & Loan. In that position Jeff helped grow the 2 branch, $60 million bank into a $600 million dollar entity leading to its successful public offering in 4 years. Jeff has also completed as an investor, multiple real estate construction projects ranging from “fix and flips” to multi-million dollar new construction projects. Having been both a borrower and a lender has provided him a greater insight into how to help create an environment that offers the best likelihood of a successful marriage of borrower and lender.
